Dental Assistant - this is a traveling position for the Inland Empire

Work Monday to Friday no weekends

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our Ortho team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our dental practice by assisting the dentist and managing our ortho patient records, charting and x-rays and photographs and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $23..00   (Based on experience)  We pay milage and "Differential Pay" of  $4.00 extra per hour for assigned offices..

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Assists the doctor in procedures 
• Takes x-rays 
• Takes IO's 
• Assist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teeth 
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene 

• Sterilizes instruments 
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment
• Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor 

Education and/or Experience:  

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred 

Required Certificates or Licences:  

• X-Ray certification  
• BLS certification  

• 8-hour Infection Control certification 
• 2-hour Dental Practice Act certification
